Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-09-30 · Applies to the Fizz: Coloring Book for Adults iPad app and fizzcoloring.com
Fizz is a coloring book. Your pages are yours: they are saved on your iPad and we never see or collect them. There is no account and there are no ads. This policy explains the small amount of data the app and this website do process, and why.
1. Who we are
Fizz: Coloring Book for Adults is published by Massive Ventures, Inc., 35111 Newark Blvd Ste F, Newark, CA 94560-1258, United States ("we", "us"), the data controller for the limited data described in sections 3 and 4. Contact: [email protected].
2. What stays on your iPad
The items below never leave your iPad unless you choose to share them. We cannot see them.
| Data | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Your colorings (brush strokes, progress, finished pages) | So every page saves as you go and you can resume any time | On your iPad only. Not uploaded to us or any third party. |
| Your tools and colors (selected tool, size, opacity and color, recently used colors) | So your colors are there next time | On your iPad only. |
| Exports (PNG, JPEG, Save to Photos) | Only when you tap Share or Save to Photos | Generated on your iPad and handed to the iPadOS share sheet or added to your photo library; you decide where they go. |
| Photos (add-only permission) | To add a finished page to your photo library when you ask | Fizz can only add images. It never reads, scans or uploads your photo library. |
3. What is collected, and by whom
The items below match the App Store privacy label and the app's privacy manifest. None of them includes your drawings, your name or your email, and none is linked to your identity.
- Usage events (for example "page completed" or "paywall viewed"), with the app version, iPadOS version, device model and language: anonymous analytics, to understand which features are used.
- Purchase status (trial, subscription, transaction identifiers issued by Apple): to unlock Premium and to measure our own advertising.
- Device identifiers (the IDFV, and the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking) and a coarse location derived from your IP address: to attribute installs to our own ad campaigns.
- Crash reports: sent by Apple only if you opted in to share analytics with app developers in iPadOS Settings.
4. Third parties and what they receive
We use a small number of processors. None of them receives your drawings. None sells your data, and no AI service receives personal data from Fizz.
- Apple (App Store, in-app purchases, crash reports). Apple processes purchases and, if you opted in, sends us aggregated crash and usage data.
- TelemetryDeck (anonymous analytics). Receives anonymous usage events with a salted, hashed identifier that cannot be traced back to you. TelemetryDeck is based in Germany and processes data under the GDPR; see their privacy policy.
- AppsFlyer (install attribution). Used to measure which of our ad campaigns led to an install or a subscription. It can link an install to an ad only if you allow tracking when the App Tracking Transparency prompt appears; if you decline, measurement is aggregated and not linked to you. It receives device-level technical data (device model, OS version, IP address, IDFV) and event names such as "trial started". See AppsFlyer's privacy policy.
- RevenueCat (purchase management). Validates App Store transactions so Premium works on your devices. It receives an anonymous app user identifier generated on your iPad, your subscription status and Apple's transaction identifiers, never your name, email or drawings. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
- Plausible Analytics (this website only). Cookieless, aggregated page-view statistics; no personal data is stored and no cookie banner is needed.
- Hosting: this website is served from our own server in the EU. It keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, user agent) for up to 30 days for security.
5. How we use data and on what basis
- Providing the app (your colorings, colors, exports): processed only on your iPad, to perform the contract with you.
- Purchases (Apple, RevenueCat): performance of the contract.
- Anonymous analytics and crash reports (TelemetryDeck, Apple): our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and improving it.
- Install attribution (AppsFlyer): your consent through the App Tracking Transparency prompt for device-level measurement; aggregated measurement without consent is a legitimate interest.
- Support email: performance of the contract; we keep your message as long as needed to resolve it and up to 24 months afterwards.
6. Retention
- Your colorings and settings: on your iPad until you delete them or the app. We hold no copy.
- TelemetryDeck anonymous signals: aggregated; raw signals are deleted after 90 days.
- AppsFlyer measurement data: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- RevenueCat purchase records: for the life of your subscription plus the period required for accounting and Apple dispute handling.
- Website server logs: 30 days.
7. Your rights and choices
- Delete your pages: long-press a page in My Gallery to delete it, or delete the app to remove everything from your iPad.
- Tracking: decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or change it any time in iPadOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Photos: change Fizz's access in iPadOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos.
For anything we or our processors hold (support emails, purchase identifiers, measurement data), email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.
8. Children
Fizz is designed for adults and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect their personal data; if you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Purchases
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive transaction identifiers and subscription status only, never your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
10. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and show a notice in the app before the change takes effect. Earlier versions are available on request.
